Madeline Hoorn is a 1st-year PhD student in Dr. Lyubomirsky’s Positive Activities and Well-Being laboratory. She studies how prioritizing positivity is related to mental health and well-being outcomes. Broadly, her research interests include intentional positive activities, social relationships and interactions, mindfulness, and well-being.
Before joining the PAW lab, Madeline worked in Dr. Lahnna Catalino’s Positive Emotions and Mental Health (PEMH) laboratory at Scripps College, where she earned a BA in Psychology with departmental honors and graduated summa cum laude.
